Updates – finished my short film

I’ve recently finished my short film entitled ‘Rom’, and it is about to enter the festival circle. It was a very complex project, took me 2 years to evolve my idea to the final product, but now I’m very happy with the result.

I’ve also made a project for Chevrolet together with my long-time collaborator David Ballo.

Cars, Things to come

WIP, modelled in Softimage, rendered in C4D (just a test, quick 10min light setup). I’m working on a new project, which involves cars. I’ve always wanted to work with CG cars, but never had enough time experimenting.
Today I’ve wanted to try how lighting and rendering works in Cinema, so I’ve transferred an Audi model to C4D, which I’ve modelled in Softimage a year ago, and set up a very simple scene. Advanced Render rocks.

I’ve redesigned my site, it is no longer just a blog. Now it also serves as my online portfolio.
I’ve also uploaded more storyboards/styleframes from a personal project, which unfortunately won’t see the sun (in the near future). You can see it on the frontpage (called Work in the navigation bar)…

Long time no update…

Lately I’ve been working on some storyboards, so I thought I post some. I’ve made a hell lot of them, so a bigger post should follow this one with a more excessive amount, but now I’m busy setting up my main website and integrating this blog into that.

This year I’m accepted into a BA Animation course on MOME, so this means two things:

1 – I’m happy. 2 – maybe I will post my work done there in this blog.

I’m also discovered this great tool – Windows Live Writer – so now I can use tables in my wordpress posts. I plan to use this feature to make my blog bilingual.

Gondoltam postolok storyboardokat ízelítőül mostani munkásságomból. Lesz több is kirakva, de először szeretném a fő weboldalt befejezni végre, hogy ne csak a blog díszelegjen itt.

Idén bekerültem az Animáció szakra a Momén, szóval ha olyan munkák születnek, akkor lehet, hogy azokat felteszem ide végtelen örömömben.

Persze ebbe beleszólhatnak időhiánnyal kapcsolatos tényezők…

Végezetül ajánlom mindenkinek, aki blogolgat eme csodálatos programot, melynek neve Windows Live Writer. (Jó például arra, hogy az ember ilyen nagyszerű táblázatokat szúrjon be a postba könnyedén, meg ezernyi másra is…)
